Twinned with Port-au-Prince
2 of 5 in this atlas
Port-au-Prince maintains formal town-twinning links with two municipalities recorded in this atlas. The pairing with Montréal, Canada, is mutual, each city naming the other in its own register. The link with Montevideo, Uruguay, is one-sided, appearing in Port-au-Prince's declared partnerships without a reciprocal entry from Montevideo. Together the two cases show the mixed pattern typical of such civic arrangements.

1 of these do not list Port-au-Prince back. Twinning is declared independently by each municipality, so one-sided pairs are common — and usually more interesting than the mutual ones.
