Twinned with Baku
16 of 29 in this atlas
Baku's twinning ties span a broad geographic range, from Houston and Rio de Janeiro across the Atlantic to Amman, Jeddah, and Basrah in the Middle East, and Tbilisi, Tabriz, and Istanbul among its neighbors. Nearly all of these pairings are mutual, with Istanbul standing out as the one exception, naming Baku without reciprocation recorded here. The list also reaches into Europe and Africa through London, Saint Petersburg, Sarajevo, Pretoria, and Dakar.
