Twinned with Taichung

6 of 31 in this atlas

Taichung maintains twinning agreements with cities across several continents, from Auckland in the South Pacific to San Diego in North America, Maracaibo and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in South America, and Manila and Nagoya in Asia. Each of these pairings is mutual, with both sides formally naming the other. The spread suggests a deliberate reach beyond neighboring regions, though the atlas records no further detail about how these ties began or function.
